Job summary

Worthington Enterprises in Columbus, OH is seeking a Transformation Analyst to support standard playbook operational initiatives and drive continuous improvement across our Columbus Cylinders facility. This onsite role partners with facility leadership to implement and sustain transformation efforts.

The candidate will analyze production data, develop implementation plans, coach teams, and maintain a strong manufacturing floor presence to ensure accountability and progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, or a related environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to break complex problems into manageable pieces and develop fact-based solutions.
• Experience using data to identify trends, measure performance, and support operational decision-making.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships and influence others to adopt new processes and best practices.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to drive accountability and positive change.
• Self-starter with initiative and the ability to independently identify and advance priorities.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business and production diagnostics to establish current state, identify opportunities, and develop measurable performance goals.
• Partner with facility leadership and operational teams to develop and execute transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training employees and leaders on lean tools, data analysis, root cause problem-solving, and implementation planning.
• Coach, mentor, and guide facility leadership and teams to drive daily performance and progress toward transformation goals.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to understand processes, identify opportunities, and support implementation efforts.
• Drive accountability and foster ownership of operational initiatives to support long-term sustainability.
• Serve as a change agent to foster a high-performance management and continuous improvement culture.
• Identify and manage transformation deliverables, milestones, action items, and required tasks.
• Plan, manage, analyse, and prepare data and materials for progress and quarterly reviews.
• Develop and support presentations, data visualizations, and storylines for operational and transformation reviews.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and other functions to advance facility initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Join our team as a Transformation Analyst at our Columbus Cylinders facility. This position is responsible for supporting standard playbook operational initiatives and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

The Transformation Analyst works as an internal consultant to identify, conduct, and analyze business and production diagnostics to establish current state, set fact-based goals, and identify potential value for transformation initiatives. This role will develop implementation plans; coach, mentor, and guide team progress; mobilize resources; and partner directly with facility leadership to support the successful implementation and sustainability of transformation efforts.

Columbus Cylinders is a 24/7 manufacturing operation, and this position is 100% onsite. This role requires a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and flexibility to support the needs of the operation and employees across shifts as business needs require. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

This is a multi-faceted role requiring an analytical self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
