Job summary

Pensacola State College seeks an adjunct instructor in the Health Sciences Department to teach Medical Assisting in a face-to-face format. Compensation is hourly: $28 for Bachelor’s or less, $30 for Master’s, $32 for Doctorate. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Assistant certification and/or nursing licensure applicable to the role.
• 2 years of relevant health-care experience.
• Current CPR/BLS for health care providers.
• Ability to use technology required for assigned course(s).

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting courses in a face-to-face format.
• Develop curricula and assess student learning.
• Participate in program evaluation and maintain department standards.
• Report to the Department Head, Allied Health.
