Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a dedicated Transfer Station Operator to perform general labor duties at a municipal solid waste transfer station in Derwood, MD. You will help maintain safety, direct traffic, and assist customers unloading items.

Responsibilities include site maintenance, inspections for Waste Ban compliance, equipment checks, and routine repairs. Shifts are rotating with start times between 6:30am and 8:30am, five days a week, possibly including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts; OSHA site experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and PPE compliance for customers and staff.
• Direct traffic within the site for residents and commercial vehicles.
• Perform general site maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain equipment checks and station readiness.

Apply today!**About the role**We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a municipal solid waste transfer station.
