Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of prior experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, with strong safety commitment.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the facility according to scheduled hours.
• Oversee the schedule of where and which trucks dump and switching out trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas at the transfer station per the daily/weekly/monthly plans.
• Ensure customers use the transfer station according to safety rules and regulations.
• Meet loading schedules to ensure driver loads are ready for production.
• Direct incoming trucks to unloading areas safely.
• Follow safety and equipment check procedures and report issues.
• Report mechanical problems during inspections to the shop foreman.
• Participate in training and other opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
