Qualifications

• Ability to work in a busy transfer-station environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic on site to ensure safety and smooth flow.
• Guide customers to dump spots and provide clear instructions.
• Operate equipment such as pickup trucks, sweepers, forklifts, loaders, excavators and other yard machines.
• Inspect incoming loads and report material types to staff.
• Perform daily yard maintenance and keep the area clean and organized.
• Explain the drop-off process and allowable materials to customers.
• Move materials with equipment and ensure safe handling.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate hazards and maintain safety compliance on site.
