Eide Bailly LLP is seeking a Transfer Pricing Specialist to manage day-to-day engagements and deliver high-quality TP analyses for a diverse client portfolio in the United States.

The role requires at least two years of TP experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate across internal teams and clients. Remote/hybrid work options are available, with emphasis on client service and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of transfer pricing experience with exposure to documentation, benchmarking, financial analysis, or policy work.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of transfer pricing engagements from kickoff through delivery.
• Analyze trial balances, segmented P&Ls, intercompany schedules, and supporting workpapers.
• Build and review tested-party calculations, PLIs, and year-end true-up models in Excel.
• Prepare U.S. transfer pricing documentation, local files, benchmarking, and annual refreshes.
• Draft and revise client deliverables and respond to reviewer comments.
• Design and execute comparable-company searches with screening and functional review.
• Prepare interview guides and lead client fact-finding interviews.
• Communicate with clients and foreign advisers regarding data requests and questions.
• Support transfer pricing policy design across services, manufacturing, licensing, financing.
• Review intercompany agreements for consistency with TP policy and operating model.
• Maintain project trackers, deadlines, and engagement status; surface issues early.
• Coordinate with internal tax, audit, valuation, customs, and outside TP teams.
• Use approved tools to improve research, drafting, and quality review.

A Day in the Life

A typical day combines technical analysis, project ownership, client communication, and coordination across a high-volume portfolio of transfer pricing matters. Examples of responsibilities include:

• Own day-to-day execution of transfer pricing engagements from kickoff and information gathering through draft, review, finalization, and delivery.
• Analyze trial balances, segmented P&Ls, intercompany transaction schedules, financial statements, forecasts, and supporting workpapers.
• Build and review tested-party calculations, PLIs, year-end true-up models, and other Excel-based analyses that tie to the report and source data.
• Prepare U.S. transfer pricing documentation, local files, planning memoranda, policy summaries, benchmarking studies, and annual refreshes.
• Draft and revise client-ready deliverables, respond to reviewer comments, and perform final quality control.
• Design and execute comparable-company searches, including search strategy, quantitative screening, functional review, independence checks, and acceptance/rejection rationales.
• Prepare interview guides and lead/support client fact-finding interviews, translating the business into functional, risk, and value-chain analyses.
• Communicate directly with clients and foreign advisers regarding data requests, open items, technical questions, status, and next steps.
• Support transfer pricing policy design and implementation across services, distribution, manufacturing, licensing, financing, etc.
• Review intercompany agreements for consistency with the operating model and TP policy and identify gaps.
• Maintain project trackers, deadlines, file organization, and engagement status, surfacing budget, timing, scope, and data issues early.
• Coordinate with internal tax, audit, valuation, customs, international tax, and outside TP teams.
• Use approved tools and technology to improve research, drafting, comparison, tracking, and quality review while independently validating the output.

Who You Are

• You have at least two years of transfer pricing experience, with meaningful exposure to documentation, benchmarking, financial analysis, or policy work.
• You take ownership of assigned workstreams, understand the purpose of the analysis, and move projects forward without waiting for step-by-step direction.
• You identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks early, propose a practical path forward, and know when to elevate.
• Your work is technically supportable, well organized, and ready for efficient senior manager/partner-level review.
• You are highly proficient in Excel and Word and comfortable working with financial statements, trial balances, and large or imperfect datasets.
• You possess strong research, analytical, writing, organizational, and presentation skills.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with clients, teammates, and outside advisers, including concise status updates and actionable requests.
• You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, responsive, and comfortable managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• You work effectively in a small, collaborative team and are willing to contribute across technical, client service, project-management, and practice-building needs.
• You improve repeatability by developing better templates, prompts, workpapers, checklists, and project-management practices.
• You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or another relevant discipline; a master's is preferred.
• Experience with Capital IQ, transfer pricing databases, local/master file documentation, valuation, controversy, customs, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Compensation: $80,000-$125,000

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
