Job summary

Pilgrim’s, a part of JBS Foods, is seeking personnel for hatchery operations. Responsibilities include pulling eggs from incubators, loading into buggies, transferring eggs to tables, and performing routine QC checks to ensure quality and safety.

You will help maintain clean setter halls, handle egg baskets, and assist in daily hatchery tasks. Working in a wet, warm environment with protective equipment required, the role supports production demands under the hatchery manager.

Qualifications

• Good Hand-Eye Coordination.
• Able to read numbers and colors.

Responsibilities

• Pull eggs from incubators and load into buggies, push buggies to transfer table.
• Load eggs onto transfer table
• Complete QC cycles and checks
• Stack egg baskets and load into hatcher
• Clean Setter floors, setter hallway floors, clean hatch halls, squeegee water from setters, hatchers, and halls
• Back up egg setters
• Clean transfer tables
• Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily
• Clean egg hopper and surrounding area
• Clean buggies and buggy washer
• Organize setter halls and egg rooms
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by hatchery manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pull eggs from incubators and load into buggies, push buggies to transfer table


• Load eggs onto transfer table


• Complete QC cycles and checks


• Stack egg baskets and load into hatcher


• Clean Setter floors, setter hallway floors, clean hatch halls, squeegee water from setters, hatchers, and halls


• Back up egg setters


• Clean transfer tables


• Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily


• Clean egg hopper and surrounding area


• Clean buggies and buggy washer


• Organize setter halls and egg rooms

Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by hatchery manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good Hand-Eye Coordination


• Able to read numbers and colors

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Zoetis certification (will be certified after training)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Continuously:standing, walking


• Frequently:lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching.
