The Transfer Driver plays a vital role in our operations. This is an on-call position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or Branch to customer: fulfill our commitment to timely and reliable transportation services, ensuring that trucks reach their destinations promptly and efficiently.
• Follow all DOT regulations: prioritize safety and compliance with regulations to create a positive experience for both drivers and customers, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
• Pre-trip Truck Inspections: engage in continuous learning by staying updated on safety protocols and performing thorough pre-trip inspections, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Engage in all assigned learning modules: demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development, embracing opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
• Troubleshoot the flow of traffic and road conditions: demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in navigating various traffic conditions and ensuring timely delivery, exhibiting a pioneering spirit in overcoming challenges.
• All other duties as assigned: show responsibility and accountability in completing additional tasks as required, demonstrating good stewardship of resources and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.
• Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required: reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with at least a 5 year driving history
• Must be at least 25 years old
• Ability to adhere to established safe driving guidelines
• Ability to perform all tasks in a safe manner, following all safety rules and guidelines
• Ability to work safely and well with others
• Dependable and reliable attendance required
