Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Transfer Driver to help move equipment between centers, dealerships and repair shops. You will fill out receipts electronically, perform basic inspections, and maintain driver logs while ensuring timely, safe handling of vehicles.

Eligible candidates should hold a valid driver license, be comfortable using mobile transfer apps, and be 18 or older. U-Haul offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits program.

Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Transfer Driver Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to use mobile transfer programs
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul
• Must be 18 or older

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
