Get to Know Your Team:

Hillcrest HealthCare System (HHS) includes three hospitals in Tulsa and five regional hospitals, such as Hillcrest Medical Center, Hillcrest Hospital South, Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital, among others. HHS provides primary and specialty care through Utica Park Clinic and Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a dedicated Centralized One Call Transfer Center.
  • Facilitate efficient transfer and acceptance of emergent, urgent, and elective patients across hospitals and clinics, adhering to EMTALA guidelines.
  • Use critical thinking, clinical expertise, and resources to gather medical information, apply admission criteria, and guide patient placement based on needs and facility capabilities.
  • Interface with physicians, House Supervisors, and leadership at accepting facilities.
  • Collaborate with call center staff and maintain accurate documentation of all calls.
  • Maintain professional communication and customer service skills.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current Oklahoma RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum of two years critical care experience
