Job summary

Mastronardi Produce, the SUNSET brand leader in fresh produce, seeks a Transfer Coordinator at the Livonia Distribution Center in Michigan. The 400,000 sq ft refrigerated facility runs 24/7 and relies on precise transfers and strong communication with inventory control to meet schedules.

The role focuses on loading, counting and verifying transfers, ensuring proper customs documentation, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting inbound and outbound logistics.

Qualifications

• Must pass Drug Test and Background Check
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or related shipping and receiving experience
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in the use of English language
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing office preferred
• Experience with scanning and filing documentation

Responsibilities

• Loading, counting and verifying warehouse system transfers to other facilities
• Communicating with Commodity Inventory Control on product needs for transfers
• Preparing and ensuring all information required for Customs documentation
• Ensuring schedule attainment and escalating issues to avoid missed transfers
• Understanding MPL receiving process and adhering to MPL protocols
• Assisting receiving in timely and accurate inbound loads
• Monitoring status of incoming orders with receiving management
• Following commodity management allocations and change orders for transfers
• Communicating inbound quality issues with Commodity Management
• Understanding NAV-based receiving and transfer processes
• Maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary information

The Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7; is currently seeking aTransfer Coordinator to join our team.

Shift: A1 Sunday through Tuesday / alternating Wednesday: 6am - 6pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for loading, counting and verifying warehouse system transfers to other facilities.
• Communicating with Commodity Inventory Control team on product needed for transfers.
• Communicating, with absolute accuracy, all information required to create valid and proper Customs Documentation.
• Ensuring schedule attainment. Escalating any product availability issues to Receiving Manager that may cause scheduled transfer departure to miss.
• Complete understanding of MPL receiving process and adhere to all MPL protocols.
• Assists receiving in accurately and timely receiving of all inbound loads.
• Monitors status of incoming orders with receiving management and admin.
• Follow commodity management allocations and change orders for transfers.
• Communicates well with Commodity Management on inbound quality issues.
• Understands the computerized process of receiving and transferring of goods in NAV.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other Company data, including personnel information.

Basic Qualifications:

Must pass Drug Test and Background Check

Must be 18 years or older

High school diploma or related shipping and receiving experience

Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Proficiency in the use of English language

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift experience required (at least 2 years)

Previous experience in a manufacturing office is preferred.

Previous experience with scanning and filing documentation.
