Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time transfer car operator/forklift operator to safely operate and care for the transfer car and move stock to machines as directed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a current Lift Truck Operator License; preferred experience includes the corrugated industry and prior forklift operation. The position is on site on the second shift with emphasis on safety and production schedule adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for transfer car safely.
• Complete and file transfer car inspection forms before each shift.
• Deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Maintain neat, safe storage of stock.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Track stock location via paperwork and computer.
• Maximize equipment utilization and operate at capacity.
• Adhere to production schedule and assist optimizations.
