Job summary

The University of Houston is seeking a Transcript Analyst in Admissions to analyze and evaluate college transcripts to identify transferable credits. You will review transcripts from domestic and international institutions, recommend credit transfers, and prepare data for course equivalencies.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or two years of college; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Description:

Under direct supervision, analyzes and evaluates transcripts from colleges and universities to identify transferable course credits.

• Reviews transcripts from domestic and/or international colleges and universities and recommends transfer of course credits to UH.
• Enters external course data in preparation for equivalent course assignment.
• Advises students about course credit transfers and gaps.
• Assists in reviewing university-related web tools and other software used in transcript analysis.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Requires an associate's degree or two (2) years of college or equivalent combination of training and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
