Expeditors International is seeking a logistics professional to support freight process flow, data entry, and billing accuracy. You will coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure on-time shipments and compliance with internal standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of ocean documentation process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter data accurately into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Bill clients and vendors accurately and on time.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments meeting service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet KPI standards per Company policy.
• Communicate promptly via email and other channels.
• Understand customers’ procedures and keep internal DLSOPs updated.
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests.
• Understand and adhere to company policy regarding KPIs and procedures.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
