The People Of: Professional Services in Boston, MA seeks a mid-level Transactions Associate with 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience, focusing on U.S. and international M&A, securities matters, venture financings, and governance for middle-market clients.

You will work closely with partners and senior associates, drafting and negotiating agreements, coordinating teams, and advising on governance and compliance throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school, active Massachusetts Bar membership
• 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience, ideally with M&A and venture financings
• Strong drafting and negotiating abilities, ability to manage deal flow and coordinate teams

A leading corporate practice is seeking a mid-level associate (4–6 years PQE) to join its Boston office. The role focuses on U.S. and international M&A, securities matters, venture financings, and corporate governance for middle-market and upper-middle-market companies, including private equity clients. Candidates will work closely with partners and senior associates, engaging directly with clients and participating in all aspects of transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A and securities transactions, including cross-border deals
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and ancillary documentation
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and clients throughout transaction lifecycle
• Advise clients on governance, compliance, and other corporate matters

Who You Are

• 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience, ideally with M&A and venture financings
• Skilled in drafting and negotiating agreements, managing deal flow, and coordinating teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active Massachusetts Bar membership

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $290,000–$390,000 (DOE)
