Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Illinois Bar admission required.
- 2+ years of substantive transactional legal experience.
- Experience in business law, corporate transactions, real estate, estate planning, or related transactional practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on transactional and business matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate business-related agreements.
- Handle entity formations, reorganizations, and business transactions.
- Represent clients in sales, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Manage real estate transactions from drafting through closing.
- Assist clients with estate planning and related matters.
- Develop trusted client relationships and provide practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on complex matters.
- Grow a book of business and progress toward shareholder-track advancement.
