TEEMA Group seeks an Associate Attorney in Sacramento, CA to manage a broad range of business and governance matters for tribal clients and affiliated enterprises. You will prepare and negotiate contracts and other transactional documents, and counsel on organizational, regulatory, and commercial issues.

The role blends transactional work with adjunct litigation, requiring prior civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Experience handling transactional and governance matters.
• Prior civil litigation experience required.
• Ability to work with tribal clients and affiliated enterprises.

Responsabilités

• Handle a broad range of business and governance matters for tribal clients and affiliated enterprises.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and other transactional documents.
• Counsel clients regarding organizational, operational, regulatory, and commercial matters.
• Assist with business-development projects and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with a partner and experienced associates.
• Primarily transactional practice with adjunct litigation work; prior civil litigation experience required.
• Approximately 80% transactional / 20% litigation
