Job Description
- Position Title: Transaction Processor Associate II, reporting to a Transaction Processing Supervisor.
- Responsible for working on various Transaction Processing projects, involving researching, analyzing, and updating consumer information utilizing different systems.
- Qualified candidates will bring a positive approach to meeting the high demands of a busy work environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Display a professional attitude towards employees, consumers, and activities.
- Process case maintenance transactions and perform tasks accurately within procedural guidelines.
- Evaluate and determine eligibility of medical expenses for medical programs.
- Communicate with clients through verbal or written communication.
- Screen consumers by data entering information into the Eligibility Determination System.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity standards and performance standards for quality.
- Exhibit exemplary customer service internally and externally.
- Maintain a strong understanding and knowledge of procedures and operating systems.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet contract guidelines.
- Report to work on time and ready to perform daily responsibilities.
- Adhere to the Project Site Attendance Policy.
Experience and Education:
- College degree and Eligibility Determination/Transaction Processing experience preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, and adapt to change.
- Proficiency in company standard software and PC systems.
- Ability to problem-solve through analysis and feedback.
- Ability to achieve results through knowledge, commitment, and attention to detail.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to detect, document, and correct quality issues.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Work is generally performed in an office setting.
- Overtime, days, evenings, and some weekend hours.
- Extremely fast pace.
