Job summary

PPG is seeking a Production Coordinator to support finished product inventories, ensure raw materials supply, and prepare reports. The role is onsite in Cleveland, OH and reports to a Production Superintendent.

The position involves assisting supervisors, maintaining inventory accuracy, and using Oracle for data movement. Strong written and verbal communication is essential to drive results and team cooperation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in operations or lean manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Oracle.
• Effective written and oral communication skills essential to acquire results and improve team cooperation.

• Assist Production Supervisors in daily tasks that facilitate the production of batches by resolving and preventing transactional failure modes.
• Support inventory accuracy goals through proper use of inventory-affecting transactions.
• Use Oracle processes and transactions to accurately facilitate data movement in Inventory Management and Batch Execution.
• Record problems that operators encounter, prioritize the most important problems, and provide measures to eliminate them.

As a Production Coordinator, you will perform a variety of support responsibilities to retain control over finished product inventories. You ensure the supply of raw materials and components to production areas, record the entry of finished products to the corresponding warehouse, and prepare different reports. You help to promote a safe, productive, and 5S‑dedicated production operation. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to a Production Superintendent.

Main Responsibilities
