Job summary

PPG Industries in Missouri seeks a Transaction Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy, process batch tickets, and support ERP readiness. You will report to Plant Manager and work with teams to ensure reliable inventory throughout the site.

Responsibilities include data validation, pre-go-live prep, cycle counts, and Oracle ERP transactions. Strong systems proficiency and ability to operate warehouse equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).

Job description

As the Transaction Coordinator, you will maintain inventory accuracy, processing and transacting manufacturing batch tickets, and supporting teams to ensure accurate material inventory throughout the facility. We are looking for someone with systems proficiency and the ability to operate material handling equipment in a warehouse environment. You will report to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Before the manufacturing site’s ERP go-live, you will help prepare the facility for a successful system launch.
• Support pre-go-live preparation activities, including data validation, process documentation, and operational readiness tasks
• Collaborate with the Oracle ERP implementation team to assist with system configuration, testing, user acceptance activities, and training preparation
• Conduct cycle counts to establish baseline inventory accuracy and support data integrity efforts ahead of system go-live
• Transact and process manufacturing batch tickets and promptly within the Oracle system
• Ensure all batch ticket transactions reflect actual production activity and align with inventory records
• Use inventory management and ERP (Oracle) systems to enter and report inventory data
• Create reports, analyze trends, and communicate updates to partners

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
• Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
