Job summary

CohnReznick in New York is seeking a Manager for Healthcare Transaction Advisory Services to lead due diligence engagements for buyers and sellers. You will analyze financial histories, identify earnings trends, and collaborate with clients and teams to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare TA/audit, strong GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred, and proficient Excel/PowerPoint skills to prepare reports and present findings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, and M&A or TA services.
  • 5+ years of audit or TA experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and identify trends.
  • Coordinate with team and management on client expectations, deliverables and deadlines.

This position will support our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services team. This team conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. As a member of this team, you'll not only have the opportunity to interact with clients but also to interact with team members across all levels within the practice.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions 5+ plus years of audit or transaction advisory experience within the healthcare industry with experience in providers, reimbursement risks and revenue cycles. Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients as required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure the deliverables are met on time

In New York, the salary range for a Manager is $110,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
