Job summary

Grassi is seeking a Transaction Advisory Senior Associate focused on Financial Due Diligence to join our team in multiple office locations, including Chelmsford, Needham, Jericho, New York, Park Ridge, Glastonbury, and Wayne. This role offers exposure to buy-side and sell-side engagements within a dynamic, growing firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of Transaction Advisory experience, and 3+ total years of relevant experience.
  • CPA license required.
  • Construction and/or manufacturing & distribution industry experience desired; Industry agnostic experience considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, initiative, and leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others.

Responsibilities

  • Support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and QoE engagements by performing analyses and assisting in evaluating transaction opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, operating results, and KPIs to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and factors affecting transaction outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing QoE reports, presentations, and client deliverables communicating findings and insights.
  • Evaluate revenue, earnings, working capital, cash flow, and balance sheet accounts to assess target financial health.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses and research to support engagement teams throughout the transaction process.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to gather and organize client data, perform testing procedures, and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and management interviews to develop client relationships.
  • Contribute to multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Stay current on industry trends, accounting developments, and best practices to enhance client service.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Transaction Advisory Senior Associate focused on Financial Due Diligence to join our team in any of the following office locations: Jericho, NY; New York, NY; Park Ridge, NJ; Chelmsford, MA; Needham, MA; Glastonbury, CT; or Wayne, PA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Supporting buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings (QoE) engagements by performing analyses and assisting in the evaluation of transaction opportunities
  • Analyzing financial statements, operating results, and key performance metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and other factors impacting transaction outcomes
  • Assisting in the preparation of QoE reports, presentations, and client deliverables that communicate findings, adjustments, and key financial insights
  • Evaluating revenue, earnings, working capital, cash flow, and balance sheet accounts to assess the financial performance and health of target businesses
  • Conducting detailed financial analyses and research to support engagement teams throughout the transaction process
  • Collaborating with engagement teams to gather and organize client data, perform testing procedures, and meet project deadlines
  • Participating in client meetings and management interviews while developing relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Contributing to multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Staying current on industry trends, accounting developments, and transaction advisory best practices to enhance technical knowledge and client service
  • Supporting a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing, professional development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
  • Traveling to client sites and firm offices as needed to support engagement requirements
