Transformer/Equipment Technician Operator
Under the supervision of a Transformer/Equipment Technician Foreman and General Foremen, this position will be responsible for the completion of in-field jobs on an assigned or emergency basis.
In-field jobs include maintenance, installation, and removal of high voltage transformers and related equipment, troubleshooting electrical power equipment, and control circuits. The role also involves switching, maintenance, and construction of substation equipment, implementing protective measures for maintenance duties, and routine substation inspections. The technician will ensure a safe work environment and lead apprentices.

Must be able to work safely around hazardous equipment, in various weather conditions, and at heights. Capable of handling physical and environmental challenges associated with electrical work.
