Moog Space and Defense Group in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Training Systems Manager to design, develop, and execute training strategies that equip employees with the skills to support current and future programs across manufacturing and operations. The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing/technical operations, 3 years in training, and strong AS9100/ISO9001 knowledge.

You will lead curricula, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced defense/space

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in manufacturing/technical operations with production processes, workforce development, and continuous improvement.
• 3 years in training, development, or coaching in a technical or operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systems.
• Proven experience developing and implementing training curricula.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Experience in team-based, cross-functional environments.
• Ability to assess organizational needs and develop training solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with training or media tools and MS Office.

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Training Systems Manager to join them. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and execution of training strategies that ensure employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to support both current and future business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical operations environment, with demonstrated knowledge of production processes, workforce development, and continuous improvement practices.
• 3 years of experience in training, development, or coaching in a technical or operational environment
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systems
• Proven experience developing and implementing training curricula
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Experience working in a team-based and cross-functional environment
• Ability to assess organizational needs and develop effective training solutions

Salary Range Transparency

Blacksburg, VA $115,000.00–$170,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
