Merit Restorations in Purcellville, VA, is seeking a Training Systems & Compliance Coordinator to support the Director of Training & Compliance. This role serves as the operational control tower for Merit’s training and compliance functions, maintaining systems, records, certifications, and reporting that give visibility into readiness and risk.
Based at Corporate with hybrid work, the coordinator ensures up-to-date credentials, tracks requirements, and surfaces gaps early.
Welcome to Merit Restorations. We specialize in mitigating and rebuilding residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, storms, and other disasters. We partner with leading insurance carriers and handle everything from emergency cleanup to complete rebuilds, with a focus on safety, integrity, and advocacy. As entrepreneurs, we take full ownership of the work we do and the families we serve. At Merit, our purpose is simple and non-negotiable: we work together as a team so we can change lives. Teamwork is the foundation of everything we do-because teamwork creates impact, and impact changes lives. We exist to help people, and the only way we do that at the highest level is by moving as one team, aligned in mission, values, and execution.
We exist for two families. The families we serve and the families inside this company. When we work together and serve our clients at the highest level, both families win.
As the Training Systems & Compliance Coordinator for Merit Restorations, you will be working directly for the Director of Training & Compliance. This position serves as the operational control tower for Merit's Training & Compliance function, maintaining the systems, records, development tracking, certifications, program requirements, and reporting that give Merit clear visibility into employee readiness and compliance risk.
This is a full-time position based at Corporate, with hybrid work as appropriate.
The Coordinator keeps the department proactive rather than reactive by maintaining accurate information, surfacing upcoming requirements, and identifying exceptions before they become business problems - always working to answer one question: do we know what is required, who is qualified, what is coming due, who is developing, and where performance is beginning to drift.
This position surfaces the gap; Training & Compliance decides the intervention, the Restoration Training Specialist develops the employee, and the Branch Manager owns execution and accountability, with the Coordinator tracking the result.
Accordingly, this role does not own employee performance management, field coaching or competency decisions, Training & Compliance strategy, or carrier/TPA relationship ownership. What it does own is the visibility - surfacing the gap early and tracking it through to resolution.
Other duties may be assigned.
