Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified Training System Admin / Operator to support SOCPAC with critical, non-standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including multiple commands and mission partners.

You will administer and operate training platforms, IT infrastructure, and mission equipment; configure sensors and onboard gear; and support classroom, distance learning, and tailored native-language training.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2-year technical school in related field.
• 7 years relevant professional experience in administering systems, servers, networks, user accounts, and software environments.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administers and operates training platforms, IT infrastructure, and mission equipment used for classroom, distance, exercise, and operational systems training.
• Configures sensors, antennas, onboard mission equipment, and training environments to support realistic demonstrations and user familiarization.
• Supports global classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner-nation documentation, and tailored native-language support.
• Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function

Job Description

Summary:
The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Training System Admin / Operator to support the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with critical, non-standard logistical gaps in expeditionary and contested environments for USINDOPACOM, including directorates, subordinate unified commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, and mission partners.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Administers and operates training platforms, IT infrastructure, and mission equipment used for classroom, distance, exercise, and operational systems training
• Configures sensors, antennas, onboard mission equipment, and training environments to support realistic demonstrations and user familiarization
• Supports global classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning; training materials, demonstrations, exercises, operational systems training, mission training, partner-nation documentation, and tailored native-language support
• Supports Training, Exercises, and Experimentation function

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess an Associate's Degree or 2 year technical school in Related Field
• Must possess 7 years relevant professional experience performing activities such as administering systems, servers, networks, user accounts, and software environments, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining availability, backups, and configuration records, supporting help desk or user support activities, and coordinating with cybersecurity and operations teams

Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance
