Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Training Supervisor to design and manage manufacturing training programs, including bootcamps for welding and brazing processes. The role coordinates onboarding, tracks 30-90 day milestones, and partners with HR to improve retention and engagement.

The successful candidate will develop a training calendar, maintain skill matrices, and oversee training effectiveness while supervising operations trainers in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 6+ years of experience in training.
• Experience creating bootcamps and training programs for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to track 30-60-90 day training milestones and improve retention.

Responsibilities of the Training Supervisor:

• Create a bootcamp Training (theory and hands on) s t arting with Mount and Wire and Coils Brazing.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires, temp employees.
• Track 30-60-90 day training completion and close attention to new employees.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to improve employee retention by identify training skill gaps with existing employees and increase employee engagement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar, and be the owner of Alchemy Training Software.
• Content Development Training
• Recertification by job class and area.
• Individual performance tracking
• Up to date skill matrix for the plant with accurate records
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.
• Supervises operations trainers within a manufacturing environment.
• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6 Years suggested minimum experience.

SALARY RANGE : $85,200 - $127,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
