Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Methuen, MA, is recruiting to oversee the production-area staff and center operations under the Center Manager. You will monitor training, review quality control records, and participate in hiring and orientation to ensure safety and efficiency.

This role requires a high school diploma, CPR/AED certification, physical stamina for lifting and standing, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Frequent bending, standing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Fine motor coordination and distance monitoring of equipment.

About the role:

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

How you will contribute:

• You will monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
• You will review Quality Control Records
• You will coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
• You will manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
• You will consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns
• You will counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What you bring to Takeda:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
• Frequent bending and reaching. Requires ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required

For Location: USA - MA - Methuen U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $26.40 - $36.30 The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
