Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Center Manager/Production Supervisor to oversee staff in the plasma donation center, ensuring training continuity, safety, and quality. You report to the Center Manager and help drive production excellence while maintaining Takeda’s standards. Location: Mount Pleasant, WI; pay is a projected hourly range reflecting local markets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and AED certification are required.
• Frequent bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

• Review Quality Control Records.
• Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in hiring process.
• Manage the production area and motivate employees to meet goals and compliance standards.
• Consult with management on escalated donor/employee concerns.
• Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify improvement opportunities.

About the role:

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

How you will contribute:

• You will monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
• You will review Quality Control Records
• You will coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
• You will manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
• You will consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns
• You will counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What you bring to Takeda:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
• Frequent bending and reaching. Requires ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required
