Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda company, is seeking a Center Manager-level professional to oversee production-area staff at our Corpus Christi center. You will report to the Center Manager and lead employees to meet quality standards and donor-care objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, reviewing QC records, handling new-hire orientation, and addressing donor and employee concerns while promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Frequent bending/reaching; ability to walk/stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring prolonged glove wear.

How you will contribute

• You will monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
• You will review Quality Control Records
• You will coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
• You will manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
• You will consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns
• You will counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What you bring to Takeda

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
• Frequent bending and reaching. Requires ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required

Summary

For Location: USA - TX - Corpus Christi

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $22.80 - $31.35
