Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, coordinate, and execute training programs for IDAP departmental employees.
- Create, update, and maintain best practices, SOPs, and work instructions to improve operational efficiency.
- Direct or conduct on‑the‑job training (OJT) studies to determine optimal workflow and sequence of operations.
- Review employee training records and partner with Operations to develop action plans and new OJTs.
- Recommend methods to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
- Assist in establishing accident‑prevention measures where appropriate.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and cross‑functional departments.
- Participate in equipment and process FMEAs to understand process and product risks.
- Report training activities, results, and progress to cross‑functional teams.
- Develop an onboarding training platform that ensures consistent, timely training for new hires in Operations.
- Lead and influence peers and team members through coaching, evaluation, and development.
- Support change initiatives and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across departments and with internal/external clients.
- Work independently and within teams in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Work flexible hours to support training needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Practical expertise with GxP manufacturing and regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals and EHS&S.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology products, inspection/packaging operations, and process development.
- Strong understanding of Inspection and Packaging processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high initiative and energy.
- Proven leadership skills: ability to coach, assess, motivate, and empower others.
- Strong change‑management capabilities.
- Ability to influence peers and senior management.
- Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to work both strategically and tactically.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Life science manufacturing experience preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience required.
- 2+ years of on‑the‑job training (OJT) experience required.
