Augustine Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to support tactical radio systems through New Equipment Training (NET) for PM Tactical Radio. The role requires conducting training in person and virtually, maintaining training facilities, and coordinating event logistics.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of related experience, travel readiness, and an active or obtainable DoW Secret clearance. A related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Department of War (DOW) Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Travel worldwide 70% of the time.
• Associate's or 2-year Technical School Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience (4 years can substitute for education).
• Ability to conduct fluent presentations and hands-on exercises.

Responsibilities

• Deliver initial transfer of knowledge on operation and maintenance of tactical radios via NET for PM TR.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainers activities as needed.
• Record and review training effectiveness through monthly peer reviews.
• Update training mission plans and maintain training equipment suites.
• Coordinate logistics for training events and maintain training materials.

We seek an experienced Training Specialist to join our team to provide support to tactical radio systems through New Equipment Training (NET) in support of PM Tactical Radio (PM TR).

Duties And Responsibilities

A successful Training Specialist at ACI will provide the initial transfer of knowledge on the operation and maintenance of Software defined, legacy, and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) tactical radio systems through New Equipment Training (NET) in support of PM Tactical Radio (PM TR). The trainer will execute other training activities as required, such as but not limited to Train-the-Trainers efforts testing events. A training Specialist at ACI will:

• Carry out instructional and trainer functions in support of the Handheld, Manpack & Small-Form Fit (HMS) programs including but not limited to: AN/PRC-148, AN/PRC-158, AN/PRC-162, AN/PRC-163 and future generation of HMS radios and/or systems. Training of COTS radios, AN/PRC-161, AN/PRC-152A, AN/PRC-117G and any future COTS radios and/or systems.
• Facilitate and instruct in an effective and efficient manner, both in person and virtually.
• Conduct monthly peer reviews on the effectiveness of training delivery.
• Update training mission plans as needed.
• Be responsible for classroom setup and maintaining training equipment suites and other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate logistics for training events.
• Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
• Achieve and maintains Assistant Instructor (AI) and Primary Instructor (PI) Certification and Annual re-certification as stated in the PM TR TPF SOP.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to possess an active Department of War (DOW) Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel worldwide 70% of the time
• Associate's or 2-year Technical School Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline).
• A minimum of 3 years' related experience (4 years of additional experience may be substituted for education).
• The trainer must have the ability to conduct fluent presentations and hands-on practical exercises.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating small and large group training activities to achieve desired training outcomes in both in-person and virtual/on-line classroom environments.
• Must be capable of instructing personnel from prepared course material and facilitate Practical Exercises (PEs).
• Experience with Army tactical radios.
• Experienced with the operation of the Simple Key Loader (SKL).
• Must be experienced in electronic maintenance and troubleshooting utilizing schematics, multi-meters, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Must have a working knowledge of network design programs such as ATOM, CPA Tool, and Trellisware suite software tools.
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline).
