Training Specialist
Location: Remote (Midwest preferred)
Duration: 12 months (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Training Specialist to support a dynamic digital team managing 8 divisional websites and a wide array of IT systems. This role will focus on auditing, organizing, and refining training processes across multiple business units, with a strong emphasis on adult education principles. The ideal candidate will bring fresh perspectives from other industries and help streamline onboarding and ongoing training efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of current training materials and onboarding processes across teams.
- Develop a training plan and roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Organize and track quarterly training needs, including updates from privacy, social policy, and other cross-functional teams.
- Refine existing training content and identify best practices for adult learning.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with business goals.
- Support the business owner in managing MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) training enhancements and documentation.
- Assist in preparing teams for upcoming training initiatives without needing to develop curriculum directly.
- Utilize tools like Adobe Workfront to manage training workflows and documentation.
- Facilitate communication between marketing, IT, and regulatory teams to ensure training consistency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in adult education, training coordination, or instructional design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training streams.
- Experience conducting training audits and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse personality types.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, IT systems, or regulatory environments is a plus.
- Experience with tools like Adobe Workfront is preferred.
- Background in marketing or exposure to cross-functional teams is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment; Midwest-based candidates preferred.
