Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Training Specialist to lead the implementation, training, and support of enterprise software. You will design training content, configure the LMS, and conduct user acceptance testing, traveling to client sites as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize business operations and drive continuous improvement. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in management or technology or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typically 2–10 years delivering successful training programs.
  • General competence with business technology consumption and strong support.
  • Experience leading training initiatives through transformational change preferred.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and adoption of training systems at client locations.
  • Train users on how to use various facets of the enterprise software and serve as their primary support contact.
  • Lead and facilitate gathering and documentation of comprehensive business requirements for training initiatives.
  • Supply management and administrative assistance in building and configuring the LMS system for end‑user training and support.
  • Travel to client locations regularly to conduct in‑person training and also to receive in‑person training as required by the business.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training plans.
  • Assist in system integration testing and user acceptance testing, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Provide expert‑level support and guidance to end‑users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues and inquiries, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials for end‑users, conducting workshops and presentations to enhance knowledge and adoption.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, analyzing workflows, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements to maximize LMS benefits.

They lead the training of end users based on business requirements, create training content, configure the training experience, conduct user support, and assist with user acceptance testing. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, the Training Specialist provides comprehensive user support and training. They drive continuous improvement of processes and actively contribute to training system upgrades and enhancements. This role demands strong communication and stage‑presence abilities, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder collaboration. The Training Specialist brings industry‑specific expertise and plays a key role in optimizing business operations. This position will be a hybrid role.

  • Assist in system integration testing and user acceptance testing, to validate system functionality and performance, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Provide expert‑level support and guidance to end‑users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues and inquiries, while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials for end‑users, conducting workshops and presentations to enhance subject knowledge and adoption.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, analyzing existing workflows, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements to maximize the benefits of the LMS system.
Education/Qualification:
  • BA/BS in management / technology or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typically 2-10 years delivering successful training programs.
