Responsibilities

• Oversees Group Training Programs and Subordinate Unit Compliance as Group Unit Training Manager (UTM) and advises on training policy with the Group Commander/A-Staff Director.
• Leads planning, development, and evaluation of group-wide education and training initiatives; establishes a cohesive training strategy and ensures unit compliance.
• Coordinates Career Development Course (CDC) and Upgrade Training (UGT) oversight; validates actions, waivers, and reenrollments; tracks status.
• Acts as liaison between units and the Force Support Squadron (FSS) and Force Development Office (FDO) for CDC issues and Wing Commander actions.
• Conducts Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) to assess training compliance and readiness; documents findings and provides feedback to commanders.
• Tracks corrective actions and briefs Group Commander or Director on Training Performance Metrics (TPMs) monthly.
• Manages Formal Schools and Distance Learning Integration; coordinates allocations and PME quotas; oversees distributed learning programs.
• Tracks course material security and scheduling; ensures prerequisites are validated.
• Supports Commander-Level Board Processes and Force Development Initiatives; manages Professional Development Board submissions and prepares recommendations.
