Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. is seeking a Training Operations professional in Wichita, KS, to coordinate new hire and workforce training. You will manage schedules, align resources, and deliver timely training using LMS and BI tools.

The role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration. You will develop dashboards, forecasts, and reports to measure program effectiveness and support continuous improvement across manufacturing and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating training, workforce scheduling, project coordination, or operational planning.
• Experience developing and analyzing reports, dashboards, and business metrics.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, advanced formulas, Power Query, charts, and data analysis.
• Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates training activities for new hires and existing workforce to support business priorities.
• Develops and manages enterprise training schedules with instructors, classrooms, equipment, and participation.
• Serves as the master scheduler for the Training organization to optimize resources and delivery.
• Forecasts workforce training needs with leaders based on hiring plans and production schedules.
• Creates training dashboards, scorecards, and reports to provide visibility into metrics and readiness.
• Analyzes training data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and support decisions.
• Establishes KPIs and metrics related to training completion, scheduling, and compliance.
• Produces recurring and ad hoc reports using LMS, HRIS, and BI tools.
• Collaborates with Training, HR, Operations to improve processes and workforce planning.
