About the role

The Training Manager understands that Montech Inc. provides a Primary on-site Project Manager (PM) who shall be responsible for ensuring adequate and timely performance of the work. The Training Manager occupies a key position and shall be approved by the CO and COR prior to performing in this position.


Responsibilities


  • Training Manager shall track the disposition of the security badges.

  • Training Manager shall document for analysis and trending purposes each alarm occurrence, regardless of cause.

  • Training Manager will have the authority to act on behalf of the Contractor on all matters relating to the daily operation of the contract.

  • Training Manager will be responsible for all aspects of personnel administration and performance of contractor personnel to include but not limited to quality of work performance, preparation of work schedules, training of contractor personnel, reporting to the CO/COR as to the disposition of the workforce, preparation of deliverables and all other required reports, control, track equipment, keys and other materials used for the contract, and adhere to the DOE/NNSA safety and health requirements.

  • Training Manager will help ensure the appropriate levels of management, supervision, and staffing to effectively implement, operate, administer, and manage all security services required.

  • In the absence of the Project Manager, the Training Manager shall act as the authorized supervisor and as the point of contact with the SFO Complex Management Team (CMT) for the management, technical, and administrative performance of all work.

  • Training Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of competency, conduct, and integrity of all assigned personnel.

  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, the Training Manager is responsible for managing resources, managing costs, resolving conflicts, providing overall direction to contractor personnel, and providing quality deliverables.

  • In the absence of the Project Manager, the Training Manager must notify the CO/COR anytime an employee is hired or terminated and is responsible for ensuring all government property and credentials are retrieved and returned immediately upon termination. All associated paperwork must be completed and submitted to the CO/COR and appropriate personnel within five (5) days of the termination.

  • Training Manager must be proactive in their duties ensuring that all personnel receive the appropriate direction and communications to allow them to adequately perform their job.

  • In collaboration with the Shift Supervisors, the Training Manager must conduct post inspections at the beginning of each shift assignment to ensure they are safe, all equipment necessary is present and operational and proper care has been taken by the previous assignee.

  • Training Manager must be able to administer disciplinary and or corrective actions.

  • Training Manager will develop, implement and maintain an appropriate training program to ensure all qualifications by all positions are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.


Qualifications

The Training Manager must have a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. DOE Protective Force (or comparable) experience and must have experience in management, supervision, and training. The Training Manager should have a current National Training Center (NTC) PF Basic Security Officer Trainer Certification or be eligible to obtain the Certification.
