Johnson Controls seeks a Training Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs for hourly manufacturing staff, focusing on welders, tubers, electricians, and insulators.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Safety and Production leadership to establish training strategies, maintain qualification programs, and develop career progression pathways for skilled trades employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 6 years in manufacturing operations, workforce development, technical training, skilled trades, or related field.
  • Experience leading training programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of welding, tubing, electrical, insulation, or other industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
