DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Training Manager to lead the design, delivery, and ongoing optimization of trainings for Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations at DSV Contract Logistics sites in the AMER region. You will work with engineering, operations and project teams to ensure high-quality, timely training deliverables.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in project-based environments, strong communication skills, and willingness

  • 2 years’ experience in a project-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong and energetic personality, able to communicate on operations as well as management level.
  • Readiness to travel – can be on short notice.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally (including Europe).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge on warehouse processes and supporting system landscapes.
  • 3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS or other major WMS products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct trainings on location across the AMER region.
  • Facilitate online trainings and create/update training materials.
  • Provide on-site go-live support and after-care for WMS deployments.
  • Coordinate training calendars with local sites and engineering teams.
  • Maintain updated training content and exam materials in central database.
  • Train end-users and key users on designed processes and functions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand project needs.

The DSV Training Manager is responsible for successful implementation and delivery of Trainings in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting processes to DSV Contract Logistics sites. The Training Manager delivers functional and business process expertise in multidiscipline project teams. Ensuring high quality in time deliverables. Activities will be based out of one of the DSV Solutions clusters in the region.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute trainings on location. All over AMER-Region
  • Facilitate online training.
  • Comfortable performing in front of an audience.
  • Continuous improvement of trainings and training material content
  • Organize training (training calendar and organization with local site)
  • Cooperate with engineering on the WMS set-up.
  • On site go-live support, and after-care.
  • Testing training programs
  • Maintain up-to-date revisions of training materials.
  • Administrating of tests and exam results in the central database
  • Train key- and end-users on designed processes and functionalities
  • Create functional designs for internal and external reports and documents.
  • Gatekeeper for warehouse process standardization
  • Provide regular scheduled project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate and sell best practices and standardization to internal (and external) parties.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate customer needs for specific projects.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to support special projects, implementations, process improvements.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 years’ experience in working in a project-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge on warehouse processes and supporting system landscapes.
  • 3-5 years of experience with JDA WMS (dispatcher preferred) or other major WMS products.
  • Profound Logistical and/or Supply Chain Management process understanding.
  • Experienced in working on small, fast paced project teams.
  • SQL proficiency is a plus.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $74,860.00 – $93,575.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
