Catalyst and Your Career

Catalyst is igniting change and unlocking new possibilities for credit unions and the members they serve. Whether through innovative payments, asset management or liquidity solutions, we’re passionate about transforming goals into achievements and helping credit unions grow.

To accomplish this, we actively pursue talented individuals capable of making a positive impact on member credit unions, and we do our best to retain these employees. Among the ways we do this are generous benefits, a safe work environment and promotion of a strong work-life balance. We believe in our employees’ success, and the average employee tenure of 14 years suggests that our employees feel the same way!

The Work Itself

The Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for our clients, focused on our products, services, and systems to ensure optimal usage and client satisfaction; this often includes assessing client needs, creating tailored training materials, conducting in-person or virtual training sessions, and monitoring client performance post-training to identify areas for improvement.

The manager will lead the modernization of our training approach and be responsible for designing and implementing innovative training programs that leverage the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance learning outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of adult learning principles, proficiency in digital tools, and the ability to create engaging, interactive content. The Trainer will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, develop customized solutions, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

The Training Manager is responsible for customizing and presenting demonstrations to recently signed clients going through the onboarding process. The Training Manager also serves as a “go-to” for training on numerous payment and financial services solutions.

This role oversees, prepares, and delivers our annual webinar series that includes researching and compiling the content, creating the webinar schedule, and collaborating with Marketing design and communications to our clients and prospects. This also includes creating and maintaining the annual training schedule with the payment groups. This ensures the appropriate training needs are being met and maintains the statistics related to the schedule.

This role involves effectively engaging with credit union executives and staff to illustrate the features and functionality of the services while showcasing our expertise and user-friendly systems. The candidate must be articulate and knowledgeable about credit unions and Catalyst operations to be successful.

The Training Manager oversees the creation and upkeep of technical documents supporting payment and financial services. This includes researching and identifying the necessary technical and regulatory information for operating rules, user guides, and training materials for regulatory changes and product updates.

This role works in conjunction with product owners to identify and resolve inquiries that require knowledge of payment and financial services.

The Training Manager will present training to our business partners, and other corporates participating in and/or considering partnering with the TranzCapture CUSO. Conducting these presentations requires significant operational knowledge coupled with advanced system knowledge and excellent communication skills.

This position will maintain the policies and procedures within the Correspondent Services area and will also assist the payment and financial services areas with presentation decks. Additionally, the training manager will maintain ongoing dialogue with the subject matter experts in order to better understand any upcoming changes and relay requested changes from credit unions.
