Job Description:

SUMMARY: Manage the development, implementation, coordination, and facilitation of all CGRC training programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members, performs excellent customer service at all times. Conducts needs assessments to determine appropriate training and development programs. Manages the development, implementation, and facilitation of all training programs for CGRC. Formulates curriculum outlines and instructional methods for individual and group training, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. Reviews and evaluates existing and proposed programs and recommends modifications. Manages Learning Management System capacity to provide recurrent and/or specialized training content. Tracks and monitors training participation and regulatory compliance, notifying department leaders of deficits. Assists with the annual budget process. Manages Guest Service training programs, coordinates audits, tracks, monitors, and reports progress to Executive Leadership. Ensures accurate training records via Learning Management System and maintains training materials and inventories. Participates in the Team Member Engagement Committee to support engagement activities aligned with CGRC’s Guest Service philosophy. May assist or provide temporary coverage in other HR areas. Performs any other reasonable requests by management, including event ushering and ticket processing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises Training Coordinator, Trainers, and other staff, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline, in accordance with policies and laws.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrates excellent work habits, professionalism, and service. Exhibits strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Shows a desire to succeed and help others succeed. Participates in open communication and provides feedback. Serves as a contributing team member to enhance operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in training, organizational development, education, or related field, with 3-4 years of experience in training, or equivalent combination. Attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of instructional methods, and computer literacy required. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

SKILLS: Ability to interpret business materials, write reports and manuals, and present information effectively. Mathematical skills include basic arithmetic, ratios, and graph interpretation. Reasoning skills include problem-solving and interpreting instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling objects, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Work environment includes moderate noise, louder on the casino floor, with exposure to smoke-filled environments.
