Job summary

JCD STAFFING LLC is seeking a seasoned Training Program Designer to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of a comprehensive training program at designated DOJ locations. You will develop materials, collaborate with SMEs, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced formats.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Education/Instructional Design with extensive related experience and a certification in training design is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design or related field with 10+ years of related experience, or a Master's with 8 years of related experience.
  • Professional certification in training or instructional design is preferred.
  • Expertise in the principles of adult learning and instructional design.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills to lead effective training sessions.
  • Experience with creating and delivering a range of training materials—from documents to videos and computer-based training.
  • Familiarity with common e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Competency in designing and managing the full lifecycle of training materials.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive training program including instructor-led, self-directed, and computer-based formats.
  • Develop training materials such as User Guides, Quick Reference Cards, Learning Road Maps, Feature Guides, Installation Guides, or Technical Reference Guides.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Deliver structured training in classroom and virtual settings with engaging, active learning experiences.
  • Produce and manage self-directed training materials for self-paced learners.
  • Conduct evaluations to measure course effectiveness and learner success.
  • Maintain version control and update training materials to meet objectives.
  • Manage training artifact lifecycle from design to delivery and retirement across the enterprise.
  • Engage with EOIR employees to identify knowledge gaps and inform training needs.
  • Ensure training documentation undergoes quality assurance checks before submission.

  • Ensure all training documentation undergoes quality assurance checks before submission into the Content Management library.
