Job summary

Family Support Services of Suncoast LLC is seeking a Training Lead to oversee professional development for the Training Department and collaborate with the USF Training team. You will help develop workshops and curricula to improve contract performance and staff capabilities.

The role requires coordinating training activities, guiding trainers, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Strong facilitation and instructional design skills are essential for success in Florida's child welfare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, or 3 years’ experience in child welfare training with case management.
• Three years of professional child welfare experience with at least two years in a dependency-related role and trainer/teacher activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training with USF to meet contract measures and ensure a knowledgeable workforce.
• Facilitate orientation and in-service training across modules (P.R.I.D.E., In Service).
• Develop curriculum, deliver workshops, and create training materials.
• Produce Captivates (audio/video) for the Training Library and use e-learning tools.
• Assess training outcomes and provide feedback to supervision.
• Ensure training aligns with Florida statutes and agency practice models.
