Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging Inc. is seeking an experienced Training Instructor to join our Training & Development team in Houston.

You will schedule, conduct, and monitor training across safety, operations, maintenance, and supervisory areas, applying adult learning theory and interactive methods. The role requires hands-on course design, evaluation, and development of training materials, including guides and job aids.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Adult Learning Theory and instructional design principles.
• Ability to tailor communication for diverse groups and sizes.
• Experience facilitating both small and large groups.
• Knowledge of training evaluation methods and feedback.
• Experience with safety training for operators is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule training across multiple business units to meet demand.
• Develop teaching outlines and determine instructional methods.
• Create training aids such as handbooks, visuals, and tutorials.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and employee trainings.
• Maintain and report training records; monitor progress and evaluations.
• Collaborate with business units to develop course materials and gather feedback.
• Facilitate team-based sessions in cross-functional settings.
