Responsibilities
- Deliver Certified Safety Training: Conduct engaging, hands-on instruction in areas such as confined space entry, working at heights, and fall protection, tailored to customer and partner needs.
- Travel to Training Sites: Facilitate training at customer locations and company facilities across North America.
- Coordinate and Promote Training: Work with sales teams, partners, and clients to schedule, confirm, and promote training sessions.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure all training tools and equipment are functional, current, and available for high-quality instruction.
- Develop and Improve Content: Collaborate on new training programs and updates, incorporating customer feedback and industry best practices.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer post-training assistance and share product updates or safety bulletins with trained personnel.
- Support Commercial Strategy: Align training efforts with business goals, helping drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Provide VOC: Communicate customer feedback on product needs, recommendations for improvement, or suggestions for improved usability.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Level II: Associates Degree and 2 - 5 years’ experience delivering training programs, preferably with a focus on safety topics.
- Level III: Bachelors’ Degree and 5+ years’ experience delivering training programs, preferably with a focus on safety topics.
- Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Safety at Heights, Latchways Level 2) strongly preferred. Or like experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering technical or safety training in industrial or commercial environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and MSA product applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; able to engage diverse audiences.
- Customer Focus: Proven ability to work with end users, channel partners, and sales teams to meet training needs.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 85%) and adjusting to dynamic schedules and customer requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally to develop and improve training content and delivery.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using training tools, presentation software, and virtual platforms.
- Self-Motivated & Proactive: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative in scheduling and delivering training, and proactively identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and customer engagement.
