Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Consultant to lead and deliver L&D training for electrical and trade-related curricula. You will facilitate classes, coach on-site, and partner with Apprenticeship and L&D teams to improve programs.

The role requires a strong technical background, 5 years in electrical/specialty trades and 1–2 years of facilitation, plus travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong technical background, 5 years related experience in the electrical, specialty systems, or related trade, and 1 to 2 years facilitation experience.
  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively facilitates electrical apprenticeship, QuickStart, and trade-related training classes.
  • Collaborates with Apprenticeship Team to research and recommend content, develop, pilot, and implement new technical and/or trade-related training and development programs.
  • Designs and develops technical and/or trade-related curriculum, based on organizational needs.
  • Conducts jobsite or on-site coaching and development of employees.
  • Develops relationships with operational leaders that facilitate open dialogue and trust.
  • Works with L&D team and subject-matter experts to continuously improve content, activities, and delivery of programs.
  • Continually increases knowledge of L&D craft.
  • Demonstrates an acceptance of the company culture and ability to model standards to trainees.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in the operation of audiovisual equipment, familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within electrical and/or specialty systems contractor field, and Knowledge of adult educational principles and theory is preferred.
