Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Training Coordinator for the 11598 Atrium Health Cabarrus - Patient Transport department. The role supports the onboarding and ongoing coaching of teammates, coordinating training schedules and materials, and ensuring consistent curricula across shifts.

Hours are 40 per week, with a 8a-4:30p Mon-Fri schedule. The position emphasizes education delivery, leadership communication, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and training skills are essential.

Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20

Essential Functions

• Attends and participates in meetings with leadership to maintain team work and provide consistent training.
• Communicates progress/shift updates and expresses any concerns or needs.
• Requests and assure teammate access to all necessary departmental applications.
• Plans, schedules and adjusts training as needed for each new teammate.
• Communicates any items that were not able to be covered during orientation.
• Monitors new teammate quality and coach as needed.
• Communicates progress of trainees to leadership.
• Ensures training materials are continuously updated to reflect current processes.
• Responsible for continuing education in-services and coaching of all teammates
• Communicates process updates to the teammates.
• Completes assessment of teammates as needed.

Physical Requirements

Performs all job functions under normal office conditions; includes sitting, using a telephone with a headset for long periods, walking and standing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
