Sterile University is Curia Albuquerque’s learning and development function that trains, equips, and certifies staff to perform the essential duties of their roles. The Training and Development Specialist will develop and deliver training that helps personnel understand and aspire to meet the expectations of their roles. They will apply instructional design principles to execute a scalable training program that promotes high levels of learner engagement, immerses employees in Curia’s culture and values, and helps them perform aspects of their role right first time. Training will focus on building engagement, knowledge, and foundational skills. This role requires experience in good manufacturing and a strong desire to learn best-in-class adult learning practices. Most importantly, it requires someone who cares deeply about people and their career success in the workplace.

Able to read and interpret documents such as, but not limited to, safety instructions, standard operating procedures, policies, and manuals. Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Able to demonstrate understanding and effective application of written and oral instruction.
Can perform basic functions in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Able to quickly adapt and learn new manufacturing software systems. Compliance-based LMS, such as Cornerstone, Canvas/Instructure, Noverant, Litmos, or Sana.
