About the Role

Canon Information Technology Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and creative Training Developer Specialist to craft impactful learning experiences that drive performance and support growth.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs across a variety of formats—including instructor-led sessions, self-paced eLearning modules, video tutorials, and collaborative learning environments. Your Impact

  • Create engaging eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning content focused on product knowledge, policies/procedures, and customer service excellence

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly instructional materials

  • Develop online competency-based assessments to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness

  • Partner with product teams to deliver timely and relevant training for new features, tools, and systems

  • Regularly update training materials to ensure alignment with operational needs and business changes

  • Facilitate or co-facilitate training sessions, gather feedback, and refine content to improve learner engagement and retention

  • Create SCORM-compliant materials compatible with Learning Management Systems

  • Continuously enhance instructional materials, design skills, and apply best practices to ensure effectiveness and relevance

  • Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure the success of training initiatives

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Associate’s degree (Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or related field is a plus)

  • 2–4 years of related experience in training development, instructional design, or a similar field

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM familiarity is a plus

  • Strong project management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to think creatively and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
