Security Clearance
  • Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities

The Training Corp Task Lead will support the programs and directorates with communication, information sharing, digital adoption, and business processes. Using DoD and Navy standards, Plain Language Guidelines and other style guides, effective data management and visualization principles, the contractor works with and trains programs, directorates, small groups, and individuals to follow standards, establish processes and products, develop workforce competency in organizing and presenting information, and use M365 apps and other digital tools. In support of this functional task area.

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training curriculum and programs and modify and improve existing curriculum and programs.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, online training, demonstrations, and on-the-job training.
  • Confer with the Government and identify and assess training needs based on projected changes to ship systems, system processes, and other factors.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Review and evaluate training programs for compliance with government standards and regulations.
  • Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with students.
Experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience leading trainers supporting Navy Programs.
  • Navy Master Training Specialist Certification is required.
  • DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; Navy procedures and processes is desired.
Education / Certifications Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or financial related field.
  • Navy Master Training Specialist Certification is preferred.
  • NEC 9502 Navy Instructor certification is required.
